The primary mission of the Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIEd) is to promote and support the strategic development of teacher education in Hong Kong, by preparing quality educators, supporting them in their lifelong learning, and leading in education innovation and reform.

We seek to provide a multidisciplinary learning and research environment beyond Education that is conducive to the pursuit of knowledge, free thinking and free speech, advocacy in policy and practice, and the promotion of collaboration and diversity.
